PainLab members on Copernicus Dialogues conference in Rome

„The focus on Polish-Italian cooperation in the area of biomedicine” was the first meeting within the Copernicus Dialogues organized by the Polish Academy of Sciences scientific Centre in Rome, Maj Institute of Pharmacology PAS and Polish Science Contact Agency (PolSCA) in Brussels.

Conference was held last Friday (Oct 27,2023). Prof. Katarzyna Starowicz was responsible for creating an interesting and stimulating scientific program, but it wouldn’t be a successful meeting if not for the excellent speakers and their contributions.

Prof. Katarzyna Statowicz presented data supporting a long-lasting collaboration with prof. Vincenzo Di Marzo in the area of the importance of the endocannabinoid system in chronic pain. While Dr Marta Kedziora and Dr Francesca Guida introduced the attendees with our data on descending pain transmission.
