The 2024 World Congress on Pain, hosted by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), has just concluded! From August 5-9 in Amsterdam, IASP celebrated its half-century of achievements and looked forward to many more years of impactful collaboration in the fight against pain worldwide.
On June 17-18, prof. Katarzyna Starowicz, along with many distinguished specialists in the field of pain research took part in in a face-to-face meeting of the IT PAIN project consortium. This meeting was preceded by numerous subgroup meetings and a questionnaire study to reach the consensus meeting point.
Thanks to a bilateral Scientific Cooperation Agreement signed by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei and Polish Academy of Sciences Prof. Katarzyna Starowicz spend 5 working days at the Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitellit. She was accompanied by a talented post-doc, dr Katarzyna Popiołek-Barczyk.
